PUBLIC SERVANT FELLOW PROGRAM

Public Servant Professional Fellowship Program is a 2 year program for public servants  focusing  on enhancing their administrative, governance, ethical leadership, policy-making and decision-making skills. The program typically includes modules on governance, policy formulation, financial management, and ethical practices. It also emphasizes effective communication, conflict resolution, and adaptability to technological advancements. By providing practical knowledge and fostering critical thinking, the program aims to strengthen their ability to deliver efficient and transparent public services while addressing societal challenges. The participants who complete the entire program are awarded with the title of ‘Public Servant Fellow’ of CIRND and are authorized to use ‘Public Servant Fellow’ as a prefix to their names.

Who Can Apply?

  1. Eligibility:

    • Applicant must be a government employee or hold an official position in the public administration sector.

    • Should have been in minimum 2 years of service to ensure relevant experience.

    • Open to all levels of public service roles, from entry-level to senior officials.

  2. Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelors Degree is preferred but not mandatory and preferably in public administration, political science, law, or related fields.

  3. Performance Record:

    • Strong performance history in professional evaluations or appraisals.

    • Demonstrated commitment to public service and ethical practices.

    • Strictly no record of corruption, malpractice or unethical behavior

  4. Language Proficiency:

    • Proficiency in both written and spoken communication in the region of public service and preferably in English language as well

  5. Nomination Process:

    • Applications must be endorsed by the relevant government body or supervisor or recommendation from any other govt. authority

  6. Personal Statement:

    • Applicants to submit a brief statement detailing their motivation for joining the program, expected benefits and vision for improving public service

  7. Direct recommendations or reference endorsements by MLAs and MPs are also welcome

Cost of Delivery

The total cost of the program is ₹5,50,000 for Indian resident public servants. Sponsorships for the program fee can be accepted from both the concerned government or any other non-governmental body.

The program can be self sponsored by the public servant, however, authorization from the concerned govt. department is mandatory.

Program can be fully sponsored by the CIRND Federation or its partner organizations for public servants with exceptional record of service. Application for getting this sponsorship must be made separately and is evaluated by a committee.
