FACULTY FELLOW PROGRAM
Faculty Fellowship Program is a 1-year program for teaching professionals involved in teaching and research at higher education institutions. The program focuses on giving industrial immersion training to academic professors and help improving their teaching performance by gaining cutting edge industry experience so that their teaching incorporates industry relevant and practical skills being imparted to students. The program’s faculty participants enhance their research and practical application acumen by drawing on their current expertise and academic background while applying theoretical principles in real life industrial settings. The program’s objective is to assist faculty in shaping students who can think out of the box, break conventional theories and get trained in practical application of their subject areas. It also allows faculty to carry out research projects at CIRND Federation and its partner organizations.
Accepted participants who successfully complete the program are awarded ‘Faculty Fellow’ of CIRND.
Who Can Apply?
This program is for individuals with one or more of the following:
- Professors with teaching and/ or research experience with more than 2 years at a CIRND recognized higher education institution. Accepted participants are typically Vice Chancellors, Dean, Professors, Adjunct Professors, Clinical Professors, Professor of Practice, Provost, Lecturer, Reader, Librarians (with minimum 3 publications) or any other equivalent position in their respective home country with minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Any other similar profile decided on a case-to-case basis by the Advisory Committee
Cost of Delivery
The program base cost for the year 2025 is INR 2,50,000 for all participants irrespective of the country of citizenship.
Additional costs are applicable basis the home country of the participant. For additional costs, refer to the zone section.
